By placing an order with Calm Waters Keepsakes, you agree to the following terms and policies.

Handmade & Made To Order

All jewellery pieces are handmade and made to order. Due to the handcrafted nature of our items, slight variations in colour, texture, resin placement and inclusions may occur, making each piece beautifully unique.

Memorial Jewellery Disclaimer

Memorial jewellery is created using the inclusions provided by the customer, including ashes, hair, fur, fabric or other keepsake materials.

Please note:

• Resin may naturally contain tiny bubbles or texture variations.

• Colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings.

• Every memorial piece is unique and cannot be replicated exactly.

We treat all inclusions with the utmost care and respect throughout the creation process.

Inclusion Handling

Only a very small amount of ashes or inclusions is required for each item.

Any remaining inclusions will be returned with your completed order wherever possible.

Customers are responsible for ensuring inclusions are securely packaged when posting to us.

We recommend using tracked and signed postal services when sending memorial inclusions.

Turnaround Times

Current turnaround times are approximately 2–3 weeks from the date we receive your inclusions.

During busy periods, turnaround times may vary slightly. Customers will be updated where necessary.

Shipping

Orders are securely packaged and gift boxed where stated.

We aim to dispatch all completed orders using tracked postal services.

Once dispatched, delivery times are the responsibility of the postal carrier.

Calm Waters Keepsakes is not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs or incorrect delivery information provided by the customer.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the personalised and custom-made nature of memorial jewellery, we do not accept returns or offer refunds unless an item arrives damaged or faulty.

If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Non-personalised items may be eligible for return within 14 days if unused and in original condition.

Care Instructions

To keep your jewellery looking beautiful:

• Avoid water, perfumes and harsh chemicals

• Remove jewellery before swimming, bathing or exercising

• Store in a dry, cool place

• Clean gently using a soft polishing cloth

Resin jewellery should not be exposed to excessive heat or prolonged direct sunlight.

Warranty

We offer a 12-month craftsmanship warranty covering manufacturing faults.

This does not cover:

• Accidental damage

• General wear and tear

• Improper care

• Water damage

• Damage caused by chemicals or impact

Colour & Natural Material Variations

Natural gemstones, ashes and resin colours may vary slightly in appearance.

This is part of the handmade nature and uniqueness of each piece.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before work has begun and before inclusions have been set into resin.

Once production has started, cancellations are not possible due to the custom nature of the item.
